Order processing automation for ecommerce brands

Selling on your own store and three marketplaces means four places to clear orders every morning. Your team downloads orders from Shopify, Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub, checks stock, confirms COD orders, books couriers and prints labels. Finaley AI Studio follows that routine step by step inside the same panels, every day, and leaves the doubtful orders for a person to decide.

The morning order rush

Each channel has its own dispatch deadline and penalty for late handover. Orders need inventory checks across warehouses, address cleanup for pin codes your courier does not serve, and confirmation calls for high-value COD orders that tend to turn into RTO. When volume spikes during a sale, the same few people rush, and small mistakes become cancellations, wrong shipments and seller-rating hits.

How the automation runs

  1. 1

    Pull new orders

    AI agent

The agent collects fresh orders from Shopify, WooCommerce and each marketplace seller panel, keeping the channel order ID and dispatch deadline.

  2. 2

    Check stock and address

    AI agent

It confirms inventory in your WMS or sheet, checks the pin code against courier serviceability and cleans obvious address errors.

  3. 3

    Screen COD orders

    AI agent

Orders with patterns your team treats as risky, such as repeat RTO addresses or unusual quantities, are held for a confirmation call.

  4. 4

    Confirmation by your team

    Professional check

A team member calls or messages held customers and decides whether to ship, convert to prepaid or cancel.

  5. 5

    Book the shipment

    AI agent

Approved orders are assigned to your preferred courier or aggregator, the AWB is generated and invoices and labels are printed.

  6. 6

    Mark ready to ship

    AI agent

The order is marked packed and ready on each channel before its cut-off, and the AWB is written back to your records.

Works across your store and seller panels

Finaley uses the Shopify or WooCommerce API where it fits and works through Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Meesho or Myntra panels the way your team does. It books shipments through the courier or aggregator dashboard you already use, such as Shiprocket or Delhivery, and keeps your inventory sheet or WMS as the source of truth.

Your team owns the judgement calls

Cancelling an order, changing a payment method or splitting a shipment affects a customer and your seller metrics, so those decisions stay with your team. The automation prepares each held order with the reason it was held and the customer's past orders, and records what your team chose.

What you get

  • Orders cleared before each marketplace cut-off
  • Risky COD orders confirmed before they ship
  • Fewer address-related failed deliveries
  • Sale-day volume handled without extra temps

Questions

Which marketplaces and stores does it work with?

Any panel your team logs into today, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Meesho and Myntra. The automation uses an API where one is available and the regular web interface otherwise, following the same steps your team showed us during setup.

Does it decide which COD orders to cancel?

No. It applies the screening rules your team already uses to hold orders that look risky, then hands them to a person. Your team confirms with the customer and chooses to ship, convert or cancel. The automation only acts on that decision.

What happens if stock runs out mid-way through the queue?

It stops processing that SKU, marks the affected orders, and alerts your team instead of booking shipments it cannot fulfil. You decide whether to cancel, delay or substitute, and the decision is recorded against each order for later reference.

Can it handle multiple warehouses?

Yes. If your team picks the dispatch location based on stock, pin code or channel, those rules are built into the automation. Orders are routed and labels generated for the right warehouse, and anything that does not fit a rule is held for review.

How long before it runs on live orders?

After you share a screen recording or walk us through a morning's order processing, we build the automation and test it on recent orders until its choices match your team's. It goes live only after that match, and every run is visible to you.
